I ordered a hoodie from tokyo-tiger and it ended up being a little too small on me. I emailed them about exchanging it, and they got back to me after about a day. The instructions were clear, so I sent it back and waited for the bigger size. The new one did arrive and it fits much better, so I’m happy with the hoodie itself. I just got a bit frustrated with how long the whole exchange process took. It wasn’t terrible, but I definitely hoped it would be quicker. Overall, it was okay.

Just a heads up if you’re ordering from tokyo-tiger.com: the color in the photos may not be what you actually get. I ordered a hoodie that looked like a deep navy on the site, but when it showed up, it was more of a faded blue-grey. It wasn’t even close.
I know screens can make colors look a little different, but this felt way beyond that. It made me disappointed and definitely makes me hesitate to trust their product photos again. I’d be careful if the exact color matters to you.

The shirt showed up just fine and the fit was okay, but after the first wash the print already looked a little dull. It’s not awful or anything, but I thought it would stay sharper for longer. That part was weird.

Ugh. The international delivery took way longer than I expected, and the tracking barely updated the whole time. Frustrating. I kept checking for changes and there was just nothing for days.

The prints have that old school Japanese feel without coming off fake or like they’re trying way too hard. The site was easy to browse too, which is always a plus because half these clothing sites feel like they’re designed to confuse you on purpose. The artwork actually seems thought through, not just slapped on a shirt by someone chasing trends. I don’t know, maybe I’m overthinking it, but it felt like there was a real person behind the designs and not some shadowy merch machine. I’d buy again just for the artwork

The material feels solid, and the print still looks good after a wash. It’s sorta better quality than I expected.
